JEFFERSON GILBERT, CAE, MBA
Principal
Jefferson Gilbert operates Gap. Point. Reach. Inc (Non Profit Leadership). He has had a 30-year non-profit career where he has specialized in developing and diversifying revenue streams for a large provincial-level professional association. He has used a partnership model for business development. He believes that member-focussed structure is the answer for member-based non-profit groups. In addition to leading GPR, Jefferson currently served as Executive Director for the Canadian Urban Libraries Council (CULC) / Conseil des Bibliothèques Urbaines du Canada from 2008–2023 and The County Foundation 2015–2022.
Jefferson sat on the Board of Directors for Renewed Computer Technology – Ontario from 1998 to 2004. He currently serves as Secretary for the Prince Edward County Minor Hockey Association and has served on the Advisory Board for the Canadian Association for People Centred Health. Currently he is the Secretary-Treasurer of the Centre for Equitable Library Access which assists in the provision of library service to Canadians with print disabilities. And recently has joined the Board of Directors of the Baxter Arts Centre in Bloomfield. He is also helping out with some process and opportunity analysis for the County Kids Reads program. Jefferson holds a Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation from the Canadian Society for Association Executives. He has a Masters of Business Administration from the Edinburgh Business School.
Jefferson received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medallion for his contribution to Canada’s cultural industries. The National Librarian and Archivist, in partnership with the Governor General of Canada, provided the citation.

ALISON GILBERT
Associate
Alison joined GPR on her retirement from the international Capital Markets. She brings 30+ years of finance, Human Resources, organizational behaviour and governance experience. Searched and hired almost 200 people.
She has worked with BMO Capital Markets; TD Securites; National Bank; Merrill Lynch; Midland Walwyn, and Empire Financial Group.
Her volunteerism is elite. Albert College, National ballet School of Canada - Board and foundation. United Way of Canada, local sports, kids of steel and everything in between.
Raised two McGill graduates; elite athletes. Skis, plays golf. Lives in Prince Edward County and the Laurentians. And loves Lewis the Lab – a quirky dog.
JENNIFER MARRIOTT
Jennifer Marriott graduated with a BFA from Toronto Metropolitan University. She has been working for non-profit organizations for the last 20 years. Jennifer has extensive experience in delivering and supporting the following:
- Key Performance Indicator collections, including analysis
- Program administration
- Human Resource management processes
- Youth training, support, and administration
- Sales processes for tradeshows, magazine publishing
- Online conference and meeting administration
- Communication projects, in print, web, and online
